This interdisciplinary program provides students with broad theoretical and applied knowledge of various fundamental aspects of genetics and breeding, including classical genetics, cytogenetics, molecular genetics, bioinformatics, quantitative genetics and systems biology. Participants are trained to become researchers in these fields or independent plant and
animal breeders.
